Slow down and enjoy each moment

Brooke really is a doll!  Isn't she growing so fast??!??!  We have a lot of fun together, but also a lot of frustration together.  She is a smart little girl and wants to be so independent, yet we have to stand back a minute and remember that she is only 2 years old.  Yes, almost 3, but STILL only 2 years old.  She is dealing with separation anxiety at school and it breaks my heart when I drop her off.  I just think she is trying to adjust to the school schedule and all the changes this year. When we get home in the evening all she wants to do is PLAY!  She will not let me cook dinner, and she does not even want to EAT dinner...frustrating!!  SO, we get lots of tears, just what I like to hear after I have been with 28 students all day!!!  ;)   She has been fighting taking a bath, which is so strange because she used to LOVE a bath!!!  At bedtime she falls asleep pretty easy, usually around 8:30 pm, but then wakes up anywhere between  midnight and1:00 am, and she wants a drink and wants to be rocked!  We usually end up bringing her into bed because we are all so exhausted and it takes her awhile to fall back asleep!!!  So, needless to say we are all sleep deprived.  It is very uncomfortable in our queen size bed and a wiggly little toddler in bed with us!!!   Anyway, if you could say a prayer for us...we just want what is best for our little girl.  We are trying to be good parents, but it is tough!!!   She truly is a sweetie and we LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!
