Halloween at the YMCA

"Aunt Jennifer" works at the YMCA in Auburn Hills and every year she invites us to the Halloween event there.  What fun!

Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

Tonight we watched a movie and ate cheese popcorn!

Halloween at mommy's school

My mom brought Brooke at the end of the day to visit my class.  My class is very immature and they basically tackled her down, so....she stayed close by me!!!  A couple students from last year came by and I got to see them.  I love when former students visit, makes a teacher feel good!!!  Brooke wanted to be a Jack O Lantern just like me, so I got out the one from when she was a baby and it fit her....kinda!!! ;)  Good enough, she is my little pumpkin after all!!!!

Halloween Day at school

Brooke got to wear orange and black for her Halloween day at school.  I dropped her off in the morning and took a few pictures.  Her classroom is so peaceful and we are so happy with how much she is growing.  Yesterday she peed on the potty four times at school and only had one slight accident, but made it to the potty to finish!  She is gaining control and able to hold it more.  Plus, she is telling her teachers when she has to go...yay!!! Making good progress.  Now we just gotta get more consistency at home.  She does not seem to think she needs to tell us.  So, we have had quite a few accidents at home.  Strong will, shall I say!?!?!

The children decorated pumpkins and made spiders with their hands.  I also took a picture of the squirrel and apple project outside of her classroom.  She is really enjoying the paint projects!!!

Playing in the front yard

Brooke likes to find sticks and she pretends to write her name on a tree trunk or on the bricks of our house!  She also likes to crunch in the leaves and throw a football back and forth.

Westview - Part 2

We really liked this Orchard.  There was so much to do.  Brooke really LOVED the jumping pillow!  I will post a video of it.

Potty training...one day it will happen!

Well, potty training has been hard.  I guess no one said it was going to be easy!!!  So, we are trying again.  She has some really good days, and then not so good days.

Rake the Leaves video

Brooke is learning finger plays at school.  This is one of them that she really likes.  Enjoy!

Carving pumpkins

Brooke told us she wanted a SAD pumpkin face this year!  So.....that's what daddy carved!!!  She was busy using pen to decorate her little pumpkin. As soon as he carved the sad face she said he needs tears...he is crying!  So, we drew them in!

Deneweth's

I took Brooke to Deneweth's after school the other day.  Matt was not feeling real well, so I thought I'd give him more peace and quiet before we came home for the night.  I had Brooke pick out a few gourds and a mum plant.  We had fun playing with rocks and sticks and just being outside.  We have had a beautiful Fall so far!!!!

Out in the rain

Supposedly we were under a severe storm watch last night...it was a little windy and a little rainy, but that's it!  Oh well, glad it was not bad!  We played out in the rain, it was really only sprinkling, more windy than anything.   Brooke had fun wearing her raincoat and boots!
