Happy Thanksgiving 2010

We have so many things to be thankful for.  I am having trouble uploading any more pictures.  I just figured out the problem...I have maxed out yet another blog!!!!!  I will send out info. on a new blog as soon as I get it set up! 

Thanksgiving Eve

We went to Kensington Clinton Twp. Campus for their Thanksgiving Eve service.  Uncle Shawn and Daniel joined us for dinner and then the service.  We are so blessed to have Shawn, Derica, and Daniel in our lives.  We love you! 

Chalk Drawing

Brooke has really gotten into drawing and writing with anything she can get her hands on!  She has enjoyed writing on her easel with chalk.  She is drawing a "turtle" here.

Chili...Fall is such a perfect time for it!

curly hair again...

She wanted to have her hair done again at night, so we rolled it and most of them came out in her sleep.  I think I need to get smaller curlers so they hold better.  Here are a few pictures of her with Jessie, her favorite Toy Story character!

Lotso the Bear

The deal was if she went poop on the potty three times we would give her Lotso from Toy Story.  She did it...so LOTSO she got!  We are learning that rewards don't really work for her, though.  She is back to pooping in her pants....potty training is so frustrating!!!!

"Play with me, pleeeeeeeease!!!!"

This is what she says the minute we walk into the house after a long day at work and school.  Right away she says, "play with me"...She does not want us to take our coat off, set the mail down on the counter, make dinner...nothing, but play with her!  I am looking forward to this stage of needing so much attention is over.  Here she is playing in her car and you would never know she just had a tantrum a few minutes ago!  She also loves to make us lay on the floor and she covers us up.  She likes to make everyone go to sleep!  

Pretending to be daddy....

Daddy likes to rock Brooke to sleep and he ends up falling asleep with his head back on the rocking chair.  It is so funny to watch Brooke imitate him.... she will put a doll on her lap and rock,  then you will see her put her head back, close her eyes, and start to snore!!!! So adorable! 

Where has my baby gone???

I really can't believe she is almost 3 years old!!!

Santa already....

Yes, we took her already to see Santa!!!  We decided since Matt actually got out earlier than usual on Saturday that we would go to the mall.  We saw Santa and Mrs. Claus there and thought, wow...no line!!!  Let's go!!!  Brooke was so excited!  We got up there and they let us take as many pictures as we wanted, then Brooke sat on Santa's lap and talked for at least 5 minutes.  She told Santa she wanted a baby doll, a blanket and pillow for the baby doll, a doll house, and anything Toy Story!!!!   She is so adorable singing Christmas songs and noticing all the Christmas decorations everywhere!  It's going to be the BEST Christmas yet!!! 

Dodge Park

I had to meet up with a friend to pick something up, so we decided on Dodge Park.  Brooke got to play for a bit...she really likes playing at parks. She is so active, she gets hot on cold days...all that running around and climbing!!!  So, off went her vest and hat...she was sweating, her hair was all wet!!!  Just hope she doesn't get sick.

Silly mirror...it makes you look shorter or taller depending how close or far you are!  She cracks herself up when she looks into it! 

We love this park, always lots to do!  Saturday mornings are fun for "mommy/daughter" time...since daddy works every Saturday I try to do something with her.
